Ibrahim Adam Ahmed Belila, Director General of the Hydraulic Research Center, a remarkable leader whose dedication, wisdom, and commitment to his work will always be remembered.<br>Dr. Ibrahim took over the leadership of the Hydraulic Research Center during one of the most difficult periods in Sudan&#8217;s history. The ongoing war created extraordinary challenges, disrupting research activities, institutional operations, and the implementation of development projects. Despite these circumstances and his own health struggles, he remained determined to keep the Center functioning and its scientific mission alive.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of his remarkable achievements was his determination to revive the DRESS-EA project and ensure the continuation of its activities. Despite his illness, the insecurity caused by the war, and the difficulties of traveling, he personally traveled to Port Sudan and Kosti to oversee and facilitate the implementation of project activities. His commitment demonstrated an extraordinary sense of responsibility and a genuine belief in the importance of scientific research and water resources management for Sudan&#8217;s future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Ibrahim was more than a Director General. He was a dedicated leader who led by example, supported his colleagues, and remained actively involved in overcoming challenges. His patience, humility, professionalism, and determination inspired those who had the privilege of working with him. Even during the most difficult times, he placed the responsibilities of his work and the continuation of the Center&#8217;s mission among his highest priorities.<br>His passing is a tremendous loss to the Hydraulic Research Center, the scientific community, and Sudan&#8217;s water sector. However, his contributions, leadership, and remarkable dedication will remain an inspiration to future generations of researchers and engineers.<br>May Allah grant Dr. Ibrahim Belila His infinite mercy, forgive his shortcomings, reward him for his knowledge and service, and grant him the highest level of Jannah, Al-Firdaws.
