Sudan presented its Drought Management Plan as part of the Drought Resilience in East Africa (DRESS-EA) project — a regional initiative bringing together Sudan, Kenya, Djibouti, and Uganda to strengthen resilience against one of the most pressing natural challenges.

💡 In an inspiring session titled “Drought Resilience in Action: From National Planning to Implementation,” Sudan was strongly represented by Dr. Tilal Sayed Ibrahim, who highlighted the paradox between the vast land and water resources we possess and the challenges that still leave our people among the most vulnerable.

🌍 This participation was not just a presentation — it was a call to action: to transform potential into opportunities, and to make sustainable planning and adaptation the pathway to a safer and more prosperous future.

🔗 Global platforms like World Water Week give us the chance to amplify the voices of our region and to prove that challenges are not the end of the road, but the beginning of innovative solutions.
