From the Heart of the Field…Steps of Hope Reaching Rural Communities in White Nile State

In a humanitarian field mission filled with purpose and meaning, members of the Darsa Project from the Hydraulic Research Center, represented by the Project Coordinator, Financial Manager, and Monitoring & Evaluation Assistant, under the direct supervision of the Director General of Financial and Administrative Affairs, conducted a field visit to the Dignab Al-Ajal and Mahboba clusters in Dar Al-Salam locality, White Nile State. These clusters include several villages and rural communities.

This was not merely a protocol visit, but a genuine presence on the ground alongside the people. During the visit, the team launched the distribution of drought-resistant goats as a step of hope aimed at supporting families, strengthening their resilience against harsh climate conditions and scarce resources, and opening new opportunities for livelihood and production.

During the visit, the team launched the distribution of drought-resistant goats as a step of hope aimed at supporting families, strengthening their resilience against harsh climate conditions and scarce resources, and opening new opportunities for livelihood and production.

Throughout the visit, several key meetings were held with decision-makers, most notably with the State Minister of Animal Resources and the Drinking Water Administration, with the aim of accelerating project implementation, overcoming obstacles, and transforming challenges into practical solutions on the ground.

These were moments that reflected the true meaning of development… where plans do not remain on paper, but become a tangible impact that changes people’s lives.
