The Executive Committee (PMU) of the DRESS-EA Project in Sudan convened at the Hydraulic Research Center (HRC) under the chairmanship of Dr. Amira Abdelrahim, Acting Director General of the Hydraulic Research Center.
During the meeting, Researcher Taha Mohamed, the Project Coordinator in Sudan, presented an update on the implementation progress of the project’s activities, highlighting the achievements made during the reporting period as well as the key challenges facing implementation. The committee also discussed practical solutions and recommendations to address these challenges.
The Executive Committee comprises representatives from the Hydraulic Research Center, the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation, and the Ministry of Finance, reflecting the project’s commitment to strengthening coordination and collaboration among partner institutions to ensure the successful achievement of its objectives.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the committee agreed to hold monthly meetings to monitor project implementation, assess progress, and address emerging challenges in a timely manner to ensure the successful delivery of the project’s expected outcomes.
